A brand represents your business. The details include the doing business as name, legal name and legal address. The brand creation is the first step in the registration flow to enable your communication portal.
Your legal name must match what you provided the IRS for the EIN! If it fails to match, the verification process will fail and cause a revetting fee.
Why is my brand unverified?
A brand can be marked as unverified when the information provided does not match the registered information. For example, if you provide an EIN that does not match the provided legal company name, they will mark the brand as unverified. Another example is if you provide the doing business as for the legal entity name and it is different than the legal company name.
