Adding Users to Your Organization
You can invite other people to help manage your Lendiom organization. Each person receives their own account and is assigned a role that controls what they can access.
Before You Begin
Before inviting someone:
- Make sure you have access to the organization's Members settings.
- Decide which role the person should have.
- Verify the person's email address. Lendiom sends the invitation to this address, and the invitation can only be accepted by the matching user.
- If you need a role that is not available, create or configure it under Org Settings → Roles before sending the invitation.
The Invite button is available only while the organization has a billing status that allows new records to be created, such as an active subscription or trial.
Invite a User
- Log in to the Lendiom app.
- Select the organization to which you want to add the user.
- In the navigation menu, open Org Settings.
- Select Members.
- Click Invite.
- Enter the person's First Name, Last Name, and Email.
- Select the person's Role.
- Click Send Invite.
The new invitation appears in the Members table with an Invited status. The table also shows the assigned role and who sent the invitation.
What the Invited User Does
Lendiom emails the person a link to accept the invitation.
- If the person is new to Lendiom, they will confirm their information and create a password.
- If the person already has a Lendiom account, they should log in with the account that uses the invited email address.
- If they open the invitation while already logged in to the matching account, Lendiom accepts the invitation and opens the organization.
After the invitation is accepted, the person's status changes to Active, and they can access the organization according to their assigned role.
An invitation must be accepted by the account associated with the invited email address. If another user is logged in, Lendiom will not add that account to the organization.
Change a Member's Role
To change a member's access after they have been invited:
- Go to Org Settings → Members.
- Open the actions menu for the member.
- Select Edit.
- Choose the new role and save the change.
You cannot edit your own role from the Members table.
Remove a Member
To remove someone's access:
- Go to Org Settings → Members.
- Open the actions menu for the member.
- Select Remove.
- Confirm the removal.
Lendiom will not allow the last remaining member of an organization to be removed.
Troubleshooting
The Invite button is disabled
Confirm that the organization has an active subscription or trial. If the organization's subscription is canceled or otherwise prevents new records from being created, new members cannot be invited.
A role is missing
Go to Org Settings → Roles to review the organization's roles. Create the role you need or update an existing role's permissions, then return to the Members tab.
The invited user cannot accept the invitation
Ask the user to confirm that:
- They opened the most recent invitation email.
- They are using the same email address that received the invitation.
- If they already have a Lendiom account, they are logging in to that account.
If the invitation still cannot be accepted, contact Lendiom Support.
