Sending a Physical Letter

Overview

The Lendiom App allows you to send physical letters to clients using our integration with a print & mailing service. Sending a letter generates a PDF and mails it to the recipient with tracking.

Sending a Letter

  1. Navigate to the client record for the person you want to mail.
  2. Click the Send Letter button to open the Send Mail modal.
  3. In the modal, choose who should receive the letter. You can select the client themselves or a related borrower.
  4. Select where the address should appear on the page (top left or top right) and choose the mail class (First Class, Priority, etc.). Optional extras such as Certified Mail or Return Receipt can be selected.
  5. Choose the printing options (black and white or color).
  6. Upload the PDF you wish to mail or select a document previously generated from the system.
  7. Review the price quote shown at the bottom of the modal. The quote is based on the number of pages, mail class and extras.
  8. Click Confirm & Send to finalize. Your letter will be queued for printing and mailing.

Pricing

Sending a physical letter incurs a fee that covers printing, postage and processing. The total cost depends on:

  • The number of pages in your PDF.
  • The mail class you choose (First Class or Priority).
  • Optional services such as Certified Mail and Return Receipt.
  • Whether you print in black and white or color.

The modal will display the exact price before you send the letter.

Important Notes

  • Physical letters are delivered via the U.S. Postal Service. Delivery times vary based on mail class.
  • Some classes of mail may not deliver to P.O. boxes or international addresses.
  • Please ensure the recipient address is correct, as Lendiom is not responsible for returned or undeliverable mail.
  • There is a size limit for letters (up to a certain number of pages); if your PDF is too large you may need to split it.
